I am a forest microbiologist and system ecologist interested in biocomplexity and the use of microscopical organisms for applications within the field of sustainability. I am trying to carry out both basic and applied research to balance the disparity in the generation of empiric data between developed and developing countries. Currently (2023-2026), my research focuses on ecosystem services, food security and citizen science.
