Research Group on Tropical Mycoforestry and Myxogastrid Ecology
Carlos Rojas Alvarado
He studied biology and botany at the University of Costa Rica (UCR) where he became interested on the fungi-plant interaction and moved to Arkansas later on to obtain a Ph.D. with a dissertation that studied the ecology and biogeography of myxogastrids across a series of mountains from the eastern US to Central America. He is now a UCR professor. |
